MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS

WELCOME TO MATH WITH MEANING

Connect with the heart. Reach the mind.

If you have ever watched a child freeze up, tear up, or shut down over a math problem, you know that math anxiety is real. Here, we begin with connection.

At the center of my classroom is agape: unconditional, compassionate love. It says, “I accept you and value you exactly as you are, regardless of your performance, your mistakes, or your test scores.”

Whether you teach a classroom or support a child at home, you belong here. Let’s meet children where they are, welcome mistakes as opportunities, and build confidence together.

A JOURNEY THROUGH MY CLASSROOM

A little music. A lot of meaning.

Come for a song. Stay for a classroom where children learn to think, explain, and lead.

A Community Where Everyone Belongs

Build a classroom where mistakes are welcome and help goes both ways.

WELCOME TO THE MATH CAFÉ

Appetizers, a main course, and room for dessert.

Short opening routines invite everyone into the lesson. The main course builds understanding. Creative closing activities give students fresh ways to share what they know.

These routines work alongside your required curriculum. Explore, model, and practice each one before expecting students to lead it independently.

Bring connection into your next math lesson.

Explore practical, supportive routines for your school, team, or homeschool community.
